What should a joiner website include?
A good joiner website should lead with photographs of finished work, name your specialisms — kitchens, staircases, fitted furniture — put customer reviews beside the jobs they praise, show the marks you hold, and give people an unhurried way to ask for a quote.
A gallery that does the talking
For some trades a gallery is decoration; for a joiner it is the hero asset. Bespoke customers shop on craftsmanship and reputation, not price — finished kitchens, staircases and fitted furniture, photographed properly, are where they judge both.
Specialisms first, 'joinery' second
Fitted kitchens, built-in wardrobes, bespoke doors, staircases, made-to-measure furniture — each is a search someone actually types. Lead with the work you want more of and let each specialism be found by name.
Reviews beside the work they praise
In a trade bought on reputation, your customer's words count for more than your own. A review that names the job — the wardrobes, the staircase — placed with the photographs of that work turns a gallery into evidence.
A quote path built for considered work
Joinery is planned, not panicked. An enquiry that asks what the piece is, which room and roughly when suits your customer better than a bare number — though your number still belongs on every page.
The marks of the trade, checkable
Institute of Carpenters, the Guild of Master Craftsmen, TrustMark: joinery's credentials are voluntary, which is exactly why holding one says something. Put the ones you hold where they'll be seen.
Your patch, stated before they ring
Bespoke work travels — the right commission can be worth an hour’s drive — but customers still want to know you will come to them. Name your base, your areas and how far you go for fitted work.
Joinery is bought slowly. Your customer has usually been thinking about the piece for weeks — saving the pictures, measuring the alcove — before they ever search for someone to make it. When they do, they are comparing craftsmen, not prices, and the website that shows the work properly is the one that gets the conversation.
Every joiner website we build carries all six — that is the starting structure, not an upgrade.
An example joiner website.
This is our joinery demo — the structure we build for joiners, finished: named pages for kitchens and bespoke joinery, a recent-projects gallery and customer reviews on show.

Checkable marks, beside the work.
We make the qualifications and memberships you actually hold easy for customers to see.
Joinery is judged on the work itself, so the checkable marks sit beside the portfolio rather than in front of it — voluntary memberships, cards and cover that a careful customer can verify before they ring.
The one customers know
Guild of Master Craftsmen
A vetted trade association of craftspeople — by the Guild’s own rules, acceptance is not automatic, which is exactly what makes the mark worth showing.
How it can appear on your site
Guild of Master Craftsmen— your membership, shown here
Shown beside your projects and reviews — only where you hold the membership.
Institute of Carpenters
The professional body for carpenters and joiners, established in 1890, with graded levels of membership.
TrustMark
The government-endorsed quality scheme for work in and around the home.
CSCS
A site card rather than a company badge — it certifies the individual joiner’s training for construction-site work.
Public liability insurance
Cover customers expect on fitted work — your site states it plainly, where you hold it.
None of these are ours to hand out — you earn them, and plenty of excellent joiners hold only some. We show the ones you do hold, beside the work that backs them up.

All of it — the build, your web address, the launch — comes as one price.
Joiner questions, answered.
All my work comes from recommendations — do I need a website?
A recommendation starts the conversation; your website finishes it. When your name is passed across a kitchen table, the next thing that person does is look you up — not just for a number, but to see the work: the kitchens, staircases and fitted pieces behind the name they have just been given. If nothing comes up, the recommendation is doing all the carrying on its own.
Should the site lead with 'joiner' or with my specialisms?
Your specialisms. Someone who wants a bespoke wardrobe searches for a bespoke wardrobe — not for general carpentry — and a site that names fitted kitchens, staircases and made-to-measure furniture meets that search head-on. It shapes your enquiries too: a site built around your best work tends to bring clearer briefs and better-matched jobs.
Does each specialism get its own page?
Yes — you choose your specialisms when you sign up, and each one gets its own page. Kitchens, staircases, fitted wardrobes, doors and floors: name the work you want more of and the site is built around it, and you can add or change specialisms later.
Where do the photos come from?
Your projects, ideally — for a joiner the gallery is the whole argument, so real photographs of your kitchens and staircases beat anything else. Where you don't have usable shots yet, we include professional trade photography to open with, and your own work replaces it whenever you're ready — sent straight from your phone.
How do customer reviews get onto the site?
A reviews section is part of every build. You send us the words your customers give you — or add them yourself from your phone — and they go on the site, ideally naming the job they praise: a review that says 'the wardrobes' is worth two that say 'great joiner'. If you have reviews on an existing site, we can bring those across.
Can I change the site once it's live?
Yes — send us the change in plain words, from your phone, and a real person makes it. A finished staircase for the gallery, a new specialism, updated coverage — changes are included in the monthly price.
